Drag, ritual, & queer performance

This is the scene where grief gets glam.
Where farewell comes with lashes, love, and a lip-sync that says what words never could. Where we honor those we’ve lost — and those we’re still becoming — through sequins, smoke, and sacred storytelling.

Drag is ritual.
Queer performance is legacy.
And there is no wrong way to say goodbye.

You might explore:

  • Designing a sendoff in character (your own or one you’ve created)
  • Performing a tribute piece as celebration, elegy, or protest
  • Creating grief altars with heels, wigs, or glitter as offerings
  • Using drag as a shield, a salve, or a spell for healing and remembrance

This is where gender gets divine. Where performance becomes prayer. Where we honor queer ancestors and lift up chosen family with full-body, full-glam, full-heart ceremony.
